Everyday Cleaning

GRANITE:

First: Wipe down the countertop with a sponge and soapy water.
Second: Rinse the sponge and wipe away the soapy mixture.
Third: Dry your counter with a clean towel. In order to keep your granite from staining, wipe off anything that you may accidentally drop on it, especially oil, wine, vinegar, or anything with acids. If you let these liquid products sit on the counter, after a day or two, they will seep through the stone and will create stains that will not come off.

MARBLE:

First:
Wipe down the counter top with the sponge and warm water with a few drops of mild dishwasher detergent.
Second: Rinse it well, as soap can leave residues in the countertop. The marble is more porous than the granite, so you must keep it clean more frequently than granite because in some marbles even water may damage it.

Silestone / Quartz / Caesarstone:

Soapy water or even a household cleaner will keep the surface clean easily, without hassle.
